I've been a car guy for as long as I can remember.
I grew up watching *The Dukes of Hazzard* and *Horsepower TV*, dreaming about fast cars, loud engines, and anything with wheels and a motor. Somewhere along the way, those dreams turned into a lifetime of drag racing, turning wrenches, riding motorcycles, and occasionally finding out exactly where the limits are on two wheels AND four.
Over the years, I've sold just about everything. Kirby vacuum cleaners, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, cars, and trucks. If there's one thing sales has taught me, it's that people don't just want to buy something. They want to deal with somebody who knows what they're talking about and genuinely cares about what they're selling.
I've also spent a good chunk of my life on the service side of the business. I've worked on everything from minibikes to Maseratis. I've busted knuckles, chased electrical gremlins, diagnosed problems that made me question my career choices, and experienced the satisfaction of bringing machines back to life.
And through all of it, I've never stopped being an enthusiast.
That's why I started **Drive With Jared**.
It's not just another car sales page. Sure, I sell vehicles at Lufkin Ford, and I'd love to earn your business. But this is also about the cars, trucks, motorcycles, projects, racing, ridiculous shop stories, and the people who make this hobby so much fun.
I want to share the stuff that gets me excited, whether it's a brand-new Ford Performance machine, an old Camaro that hasn't run in a decade, or a buddy's crazy garage project.
Because here's how I look at it:
**A salesman can tell you what it costs. A tech can tell you what's gonna break. An enthusiast knows both—and why you want it anyway!**
