Everyone posting about seeing the space x this morning and this is my view…fog with no visibility. I’m surprised I made it to Pascagoula with no wrecks. 🥴 now deciding on waiting for the sun or getting out the squeegee to these windshields.

🌀 TOP GLASS WEATHER UPDATE 🌀

Unfortunately, thanks to Isaias inviting himself over WITHOUT an appointment, I will not be working this Friday. I repair rock chips, but my mobile service does not include becoming airborne. 😂

I’ll work everyone back into the schedule next week, weather permitting—assuming Mother Nature gets her attitude adjusted.

👉 Already have a rock chip? Put a small piece of clear packaging tape over it while the glass is dry to help keep moisture and debris out until I can repair it. Think of it as a tiny raincoat for your windshield! It won’t stop a crack from spreading, but it can help keep the chip clean.

And if Isaias leaves you a souvenir…

• A whole shattered windshield? I can recommend a guy who does replacements.

Getting a customer call then opening up Facebook to see I was recommended over and over on a post just made my heart so happy today! Worked out perfect that I was heading to Walmart and she was a spark drive headed there to shop for someone. I got my customer fixed right up while she got the shopping done for her customer. & check out that amazing umbrella from Akwurks helping me out too…that sun sure does break brighter after a rain down pour. I rushed to beat the storm getting to her, still got rained on and delayed sitting in the truck waiting on the last chip to do. Then a quick run to The Pig and got stuck waiting on the rain again…but check out their mums I was admiring.

The amount of times I see repairs already fixed that I wish I could go in and fix those. But unfortunately, I can’t drill into someone’s previous repair without breaking off my drill bits. Some chips will leave behind air (the black you see), as a result of contamination inside or even rain-x in the chip. But those are usually on different types of chips. One that is this open and spread out should not have any problem with resin being able to work around and fill the inside of this damage. 💫

Double impact rock chips I fixed this evening. These flowering ones always clear up so beautifully. Especially since it was fresh fresh damage.

🦈 rock chips don’t have to be scary if you fix them before they have a chance to spread. Don’t let something repairable cost you more money down the road… Literally… A chip can spread just by driving down the road
