Southern National Motorsports Park Premier URA Sanctioned Short Track Racing Facility HISTORY:

Southern National Motorsports Park is one of the most historic tracks in the region.

Southern National Motorsports Park is located in Lucama, North Carolina just a few miles off of 301, I-95, and 581. Reopened by new owners Michael Diaz and Jerry Brown in February 2012, this 4/10 mile oval asphalt track comes with 17 degree turns, 7 degree straight-a-ways and 70 foot wide of racetrack with speeds reaching 100+ mph. Southern National opened in 1993 and saw Scott Riggs win the first two championships in the Late Model Stock Car division. Throughout the years, new traditions were born. In 1998, Southern National joined the NASCAR family as a member track in what is now called the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. That same year, the Thanksgiving Classic was born. Southern National Motorsports Park's most notable alumni includes Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series superstar and 2016 Daytona 500 champion Denny Hamlin, former NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Scott Riggs, Late Model Stock Car great Jamey Caudill, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers Joey Coulter and Brandon Brown, and two-time Martinsville 300 winner Tommy Lemons, Jr. Seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion logged his first laps in an asphalt car at Southern National Motorsports Park in the mid-90s and generations of drivers, such as Brandon Setzer, Kate Dallenbach, Steven Wallace and Harrison Burton, among others, have competed at SNMP. Southern National ran under the ASA banner for two seasons in the mid-2000s before returning to NASCAR once again. The track closed after the 2008 season and remained dormant from 2009 through 2011. In the winter of 2011, Michael Diaz and Jerry Brown purchased Southern National Motorsports Park and reopened the track in 2012 under the NASCAR banner. Throughout the years, Southern National hosted championship events for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS), American Speed Association (ASA) and the Hooters Pro Cup Series and has also hosted NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour events and the inaugural race for the CARS Tour.

Pumpkin Painting - Mini Pumpkins and paint will be provided - Carnival Games - Ring Toss, Co****le, Pick a Pumpkin -
Moonbounce.

𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭
Drivers are welcome and encouraged to bring their own candy to hand out during the driver autograph session. Some candy will be available from the track to help supplement.

Please refrain from any costumes that are too gory, scary, or obscene. This is a family-friendly competition. Any costume deemed inappropriate will not be eligible for the prizes.

Winners will be chosen after the Driver Autograph Session/Trunk-or-Treat and announced during Pre-Race Ceremonies.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭
1. You must purchase a trackside spot or be a season trackside spot owner in order to participate.
2. Participants can start setup at 11:30 AM when trackside opens for the day. Spots must be decorated by the start of the driver autograph session at 2 PM to be considered for the competition.
Decorations may not exceed the space allotted per trackside spot. Do not block the access road or encroach into the spaces around you.
3. Please do not hang any items that could break off or be damaged and impact on-track activity on the trackside fence.
4. Power will not be provided. Participants may bring their own generator, batteries, or use their vehicle power if needed. Lights must be turned off during on-track competition but may be turned back on during victory lane ceremonies between races.
5. Please refrain from any decorations that are too gory, scary, or obscene. This is a family-friendly competition.
𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬:
First - $200 or, if you are a 2026 season trackside owner, a free 2027 season renewal
Second - $100
Third - $50

𝐏𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭
Carve or decorate your own pumpkin at home and bring it to be judged prior to Pre-Race Ceremonies. Teams are allowed.
