It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our dear friend and longtime guardian of the car wash, Carl Garza. For the past 15 years, Carl was a constant presence—loyal, dependable, and always ready to share a conversation with our longtime customers.
Many of you have noticed his absence this past week and reached out with concern, a true testament to the mark he left on our community. Carl loved his dogs, Joe and, more recently, Raider, who became a familiar sight to many of you. He took great pride in watching over the wash and often reminded me how lucky I was to have him—I couldn’t agree more.
His absence will be deeply felt, and it will take time to adjust to a world without his presence. Carl meant so much to us, and we know he meant a lot to many of you as well. We will miss him dearly.
