Today, with great sadness we say goodbye to a long standing customer and friend Jorge Lazcano. Gone but never forgotten. A legend in sport compact racing. An innovator and teacher. World record holder for some of the fastest Toyotas on the planet and currently world record holder for the fastest Nissan.
Until we meet again. Our condolences to his family and to all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
My friend a.k.a “Fiebru” We’ll miss you.

Race Engineering will be closed for the Labor Day Holiday on Monday. We may be closed Tuesday or later depending on how we are affected by Hurricane Dorian. We have a generator, but we will be affected by downed phone lines and Internet access. I can respond to messages as best I can here on Facebook. Our thoughts are with everybody that’s in the path of this major storm.

Here is one of the two 557cid 1300 HP motors with 4 Whipple Chargers going in a 47’ Outerlimits GTX offshore boat. All the motor parts came from Race Engineering and we assembled the short blocks. Should be a fun ride!!

Race Engineering now has oversize cam bearings for the 2300 Ford heads. These have a .020" larger O.D. to repair the cam towers when stock size cam bearings spin in the cam bore. Don't throw away that head! This is an inexpensive repair and the only way to fix a fairly common problem!
