FYI: At some point in time late morning/early afternoon Point Broadband is suppose to be repairing the phone line issues which requires some new equipment. STILL LOOKING FOR A QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL

OIL RACK TECHNICIAN

Experience is a plus especially with working with tires, but will train.

Must have valid Michigan Drivers License, and will require the basic tools necessary to perform oil changes and tire services. Tools can be acquired after starting.

Must maintain a clean work environment, be very attentive to cleanliness of customers vehicles, show up and be ready to work on time on a daily basis.

Main job duties are performing oil and filter changes, mounting & balancing tires, & tire rotations. Secondary duties include but are no limited to helping the mechanics if needed, helping maintain the cleanliness of the shop, helping maintain lawn and snow removal at times.

Monday-Friday 8:00A-5:00P (No Weekends), Paid Time Off accrual from day one, Holiday Pay, and retirement plan with partial company match. We don't currently offer Medical or Dental.

Minimum starting pay $14 per hour, possibly more with experience.

Weekly paycheck.

Our automotive service center needs a reliable Master Automotive Technician to join our team. We strive to operate the finest private owned and efficient repair shop in the area, and we expect excellence of our devoted staff. Each Automotive Technician must be properly licensed and have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimum service. We service all makes and models of light duty automobiles, sport utility vehicles, and trucks. We offer competitive salaries. Uniforms are provided, 3% Matching retirement plan, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. No nights or weekends, Monday - Friday 8:00A - 5:00P.

Automotive Technician responsibilities:
Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations
Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Help where needed training, monitoring, and mentoring the entry level staff.
Must have own tools.
Must be able to get to work on time.
Must have a valid drivers license reliable transportation.

Automotive Technician skills:
High school diploma/GED required
ASE master certification preferred, State of Michigan master certification accepted to start
5+ years’ of service technician experience
Willingness to participate in going to training offsite and in-house.
Ability to operate all auto repair tools
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
Must be a team player, we have a valued team oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $67,600.00 per year
