We are just so overwhelmed with love, joy, gratitude, and expectation with the next season. Thank you if you attended the benefit, gave a gift, donated, helped serve in some capacity or wrote us a note of encouragement. Now that the event is over we are ready to announce that for this season Brian has accepted a position at Verduin Automotive in Cedar Lake and Mykayla will being staying home at least for the summer taking care needs at home. We will still be offering some service on the weekends as a mobile service, and if you want to see if we can help our number will remain the same as we moved it to a cell.

Today was such a sweet balm to our hurt and exhaustion with all this- being able to grieve, and rejoice in what the Lord has done, and what He is doing now.

“For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

It’s bittersweet and hard to believe this is our last week taking appointments on this property. The end of business day this Friday, May 22nd, will be our last day working on cars here so that our final week on the property can be spent finishing removing everything and wrapping up the projects in the back.

It’s hard to put into words all the thoughts and emotions that come with this chapter closing. So much life, ministry, hard work, and community has happened here over the years, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way.

We’ll be making announcements soon about what’s next and where to find us moving forward. Until then, we would love to finish this season strong. We still have some decent availability this week, so if you’ve been waiting to get something taken care of, now is the time — we’d love the opportunity to help you out before we close this chapter.

Our first job offsite… any guesses as to what it is? 👀
Only hint: it’s a Ford 6.0 🔧

We’ll have to wrap up this one this morning, and then this afternoon we’ll be back on site at the shop.

If you’re looking to help, we will be working Saturday clearing out our shed and hauling all the scrap-able materials from the lot and building to the yard.

Just shoot us a message if you’d like to come help so we can plan for how many hands we’ll have. Thank you all so much for the continued support! ❤️

Auto family, here is another roof and building update.

Due to safety concerns, we are no longer allowed in the building. We purchased an old tool truck so we could continue working in the parking lot and potentially offer mobile services while repairs were being made.

As many of you know, we have rented this building for 7 years. We have done a lot of life, ministry, memories, and repairs there. Because we had been there so long, we had operated on a month-to-month lease for years.

On Tuesday, the landlord came in with notice to terminate our lease at the end of the month. This means after May 31st, we will no longer be allowed on the property. He was not interested in allowing us to continue operating from the parking lot, and he made it clear that once repairs are complete, the building will not be rented again — to us or to anyone else.

This news has been devastating for many reasons. We needed a few days to process everything and think through what our options may be moving forward. We are still trying to determine exactly what the next chapter looks like for our family and business.

We ask for continued prayers for discernment, provision, and favor — especially as we work through contracts, moving equipment and inventory, and trying to find a new space for everything currently in the building and on the property.

We do not fully know what is next yet, but we do know how thankful we are for every single one of you. Your love, support, prayers, encouragement, and loyalty over the years have meant more than we can put into words.

This season has been incredibly hard, but we trust there is purpose on the other side of it, and we look forward to seeing what God does next.

Ok its official. We can now say with confidence that a tornado tore off the roof of the shop. This has been such a nightmare, but God is still good and we are believing for his provision now.

Sometimes you need a little more chaos to match the chaos… so meet our newest addition to the auto family! 🐾

She’s the sweetest little lady—an Italian Daniff who will be hanging around (and keeping us on our toes) at least through training.

We’re still working on a name…
Serenity? Willow? Trinity? Rain? 🌧️😂
Or something totally different? Drop your ideas in the comments—we’d love to hear them! 🐶

Shop Update:
As for the roof, our landlord has a few companies coming out to assess things. Once a plan is in place, we’ll have a large dumpster brought in and begin cleanup inside the building.

Right now, it’s not possible to tarp the roof, so if you stop in please be mindful—floors may be wet. We’re doing our best to keep things dry, but when it rains… it rains inside.

On days with severe weather, we may have to close, so be sure to follow us here for the latest updates—we’ll always post on Facebook first.

Good news: today’s weather looks cooperative, so we should be able to get some work done! Feel free to call to schedule repairs or stop by and meet this sweet girl 🫶🏻
