Can we get a HELL YES to more women in motorsports??

YES!!! 🏁🔥

More women in motorsports. More women on motorcycles. More women feeling confident, capable, and welcome on two wheels.

Running a motorcycle school isn’t about fame and glory (though wow, the safety industry is quite glamorous 😅). It’s about access. It’s about breaking down barriers and making motorcycling a space where everyone belongs.

That’s why Piper and Chasity don’t just teach, they offer and run women-only classes, creating an environment where riders can learn, ask questions, build skills, and gain confidence without pressure or judgment. Just support, encouragement, and solid instruction from women who get it.

If you’ve ever thought, “I want to ride, but I’m not sure I fit the mold”…THIS IS YOUR SIGN.
You belong here. We saved you a helmet. 🖤🏍️

Last weekend, after our BRC2 class, Piper had the chance to talk with one of our students who showed up with a very thoughtful reason for taking the course. He’s already endorsed (we love our for Clutch Alumni), and has been riding for quite some time, but he’s preparing for a visit from his partner and wants to make sure he’s truly ready.

He shared how seriously he takes the responsibility that comes with it. Rather than just hoping things go well, he chose to get trained: practicing bike handling, mastering clutch and throttle control, learning smooth turns and stops, and understanding how carrying a passenger changes the dynamics of the ride.
That kind of commitment, preparing before adding a rider, is exactly what good safety culture looks like. Motorcycle passengers face higher risks in crashes than riders themselves, so taking the time to train and practice is incredibly smart. When you have someone ride on the back of your bike, their life is (quite literally) in your hands.
Thanks a million, Zach! You made our RiderCoach hearts extra proud 🥹

Electric Motorcycle vs. Automobile Accident

On October 25, 2025, at approximately 10:52 p.m., Louisville Police officers responded to an electric motorcycle vs. automobile accident near the intersection of Pine Street and Lafarge Street. The juvenile driver of the motorcycle sustained non life-threatening injuries.

While the Louisville Police Department does not post about every vehicle accident in the city, this incident highlights an important issue: understanding the differences between e-bikes, low-powered scooters, and electric motorcycles. Each has unique laws and regulations that riders and parents need to be aware of.

In this case, the 15-year-old operator of the electric motorcycle was cited for no registration, no proof of insurance, no headlight, and no driver’s license. Many young riders and parents are unsure what is legal to ride and where it’s permitted.

What You Need to Know About E-Bikes, Low-Powered Scooters, and Electric Motorcycles

E-Bikes:
• Class 1 (pedal assist, max 20 mph): Allowed on multi-use paths and open space trails.
• Class 2 (pedal assist + throttle, max 20 mph): Allowed on multi-use paths; not recommended for children under 16.
• Class 3 (pedal assist, max 28 mph): Restricted to roads and bike lanes. Operators must be at least 16 years old; helmets are required for anyone under 18. These are not allowed on pedestrian paths or trails.

Low-Powered Scooters
• Power output: Over 750 watts and under 4476 watts
• Operators must be at least 16 years old, have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a state low-power scooter 3-year registration sticker.
• Not allowed on pedestrian paths or trails.

Electric Motorcycles
• Power output: Over 4476 watts
• Operators must be at least 16 years old, have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a license plate.
• Not allowed on pedestrian paths or trails.

Parents of juveniles illegally operating a low-powered scooter or motorcycle may be cited for allowing the juvenile to operate the vehicle.

Following being placed under arrest, refusing a chemical test compounds your problems. In Colorado, your refusal is an automatic longer revocation of your driver’s license. In addition, you will be classified as a Persistent Drunk Driver (PDD) and be required to use an ignition interlock device for a minimum two-year period, regardless if you are convicted of DUI.

I can see you’re doing just fine without me
What did you say when you left?
I believed you’d never get far without me
How wrong I was in the end

Thus, my tale of woe continues, it was me they got but it should have been you
You were the only one I trusted, but you left town and I got busted
Let me see you one last time, you can kiss my worthless ass goodbye
I doubt that it’s been nice to know me, bon voyage, you’d best be going

I agree, there’s something not right about me
I thought the darkness would pass
I believed you’d never get far without me
Life is a joke if you laugh

18 years in the making 💖 Today, I finally donated blood. For years, my iron levels were always too low to give, but today, I did it. Giving blood means so much to me—especially because when I was delivering my oldest daughter, Cayla, I faced serious complications and needed multiple blood transfusions, immediately after she was born.

I often think about the incredible people who selflessly took the time to sign up, fill out the lengthy forms, and spend an hour in a chair donating blood. Because of them, I live.

The staff in the blood donation vehicle were so kind, and when I sat there with tears of gratitude in my eyes, they didn’t look at me like I was crazy—they understood.

If you’ve ever thought about donating blood, I hope my story encourages you to take the step. It’s not just about donating in times of crisis; donating on a random Tuesday can make all the difference. Blood banks can get overrun during emergencies, and a steady supply is always needed. You never know whose life you will be saving❤️ With love….Piper
