Recently, after receiving a vehicle to donate, CBA Ocotillo gave their time, talent and expertise to ensure it was safe and reliable on the road. Once it was ready, they began praying about who should receive it. As they sought God’s direction, one organization kept coming to mind: Teen Challenge Home of Hope.

When the team reached out to the home’s director, they discovered one of the ministry’s staff members, Jewells, had been faithfully praying for reliable transportation. A graduate of Home of Hope herself, Jewells chose to remain after completing the program, first serving as an intern before joining the staff. Today, she dedicates her life to serving the women and children who find refuge and healing through the ministry.

The director shared that she and Jewells had been praying specifically for a vehicle and believed God had already promised to provide one. The call from the Ocotillo team was the answer they had been waiting for.

3 Things Every Driver Forgets to Check Before the Season Changes

The back-to-school rush is officially here, and our local weather is about to start its unpredictable shift. Before your daily commute gets chaotic, make sure you aren't ignoring these three easily forgotten car issues that can leave you stranded:

1. Crispy Wiper Blades
The intense summer sun bakes your wiper blades, causing the rubber to dry out and crack. If you haven't changed them since spring, they are going to streak, smear, and screech the second we get heavy rain.

2. Invisible Battery Drain
Most people blame the winter, but extreme summer heat actually destroys more batteries than the freezing cold. If your car is hesitating even slightly when you turn the key right now, your battery is likely on its last leg and won't survive the upcoming temperature drops.

3. The Tire Pressure Drop
