Big loss to the racing world today. Charlie has been a part of F1 since 1977. Held roles from Team Mechanic to Head of Tech Inspection, to Race Director. His love of racing, passion to ensure drives safety, and over all true character can be seen in the statements of current and past F1 drivers.

Leading motorsport figures have paid tribute to Formula One's race director Charlie Whiting following his sudden death after he suffered a pulmonary embolism in Australia.

Fantastic to see more and more investment in Automotive Engineering in KY. Most think Bourbon and Horses when thinking of the Bluegrass.
What they don't know is ~95,000 Kentuckians work in the automotive manufacturing industry. 10 different models of cars are produced here. KY produced motor vehicles and parts exports reached $5.9 billion in 2017, representing Kentucky’s second-largest export sector and making KY #3 in the US for automotive manufacturing.
