Huge shout out of thanks to Grossman Detail for helping us raise $11,000 for St Joes this year.
That Porsche is gonna be lookin sweet!

Our winner from the V-Dub Derby Silent Auction brought this beauty in today to get the works! We will be doing a paint correction and 5-year ceramic coating install on this 2017 Porsche 911 to get it looking brand new and protected for years to come.

Huge thanks to this customer for supporting a great charity and a local business!

-Dub Derby 2026 is officially in the books. You can never count out the Derby. In 2020 we were one of the only car shows that was allowed to take place, in 2024, with sprinkles on and off all day, we set a club attendance record. This year we had an 85% chance of rain but I didn’t feel a drop all day!
Swap meet (free to set up), valve cover racing, a massive silent auction, stein hoist and more meant there was always something going on. Handmade trophies from actual VW parts and a soundtrack that provided music that kept everyone grooving added to the unique feel that separates the Derby from any other show.

Huge shout out of appreciation to Bachman VW and Louisville VW for tonight’s preparty!
Bachman cleared out space and Louisville VW made sure nobody went hungry.
I don’t have any pictures since I was running around the whole time so if you were there and took some, share away.
We will see everyone tomorrow. Gates open at 8 for sponsors and swap meet, 9 for the rest of us.

Everything you need to know about V-DUB DERBY

Since I’m in Facebook jail and can not post a video, a link or share a post, I could use your help making sure everyone gets this information for this weekend

FRIDAY
6-8 - Event held at Bachman Volkswagen (our title sponsor) with the work (and pizza) by Louisville VW. Come on out and meet, great, have some pizza, pick up your goodie bags and shirt, plus you can register there and still get your free T-shirt! You could even pick up a new or used VW while you are there. (You can also go to our web page and register by midnight Friday for your shirt too)

SATURDAY
8 - Swap and sponsors
9 - gates open

For those of you who have been here before, the entrance is on the far side (same as last year) however, to accommodate more cars in the line instead of going around the main building, you will go further out to the next left. There will be signs.
If this is your first time, welcome. Just follow the signs and there will be people to help you. Check out the map, it’s easy.

The back gate (Brownsboro Rd) is supposed to be open. Of course they say that every year and it’s been about 50/50. If you are coming with a car on the trailer this is your better choice.
Sponsors and Swap meet should use the Frankfort Rd entrance and cars can too, the volunteers up front will take care of you.

People’s Choice trophy assembly is in full swing!
You saw Best Watercooled yesterday , today we are giving a sneak peak of our people’s choice awards.
All 3d printing was done by Gabe, cars from my extras, laser engraving by CopyCat, dry ice blasting by Inge Dry Ice and rods from the late Steve Parker.
These awards are chosen by you, so pick wisely!
