Another NASA Southeast race car in and leaving ready to race at Carolina Motorsports Park this weekend. This Spec Miata came to us making an odd noise while running and a worn out harmonic balancer. We found that the water pump bearing had excessive play and that the rubber in the balancer was cracked and separated. After doing a full water pump and timing belt kit, valve cover gasket, updated harmonic balancer, and regreasing the front sway bushings, it is leaving a Better. Faster. Car.

If there is one thing that we value and that we love doing at Forza Motorsports LLC, it is being there for our clients and our fellow racers. This NC Miata Tire Rack SCCA National Time Trials car was brought to us by a good friend and competitor after having an unfortunate meeting with a wall. After the frame shop was done straightening it, we got to work getting it ready for the largest time trials event of year at NCM Motorsports Park this weekend. The work included tubular subframe replacement, all new front right suspension, monoball and poly bushing installation, fender, fender vents, carbon fiber over fenders, front bumper stitching and installation, repairing the hood, and replacing a destroyed wheel. We can officially say that this K-Swapped Miata is leaving a Better. Faster. Car. Go get them this weekend Patrick Harvey!!

Another fantastic weekend racing GTS3 at Watkins Glen International with NASA Southeast and NASA NorthEast. Friday practice went great and we were fastest in class. During Saturdays race, in 4th place, the transmission got stuck in 4th gear and our race was ended. Luckily for me I had the one and only Henry Fink from BimmerWorld supporting me for the weekend on comms, crew, and everything in between. We got to work and pulled the transmission out of the car, fixed the shifting issue, filled with fluid, and got the car back together for Sunday qualifying. Sundays race went great, side by side battles were had, and we finished 1st!
