Updated Nook Vans Facebook Account Distances and time continue to shrink, becoming less of a barrier to the people and places we want to be close to.

However, while traveling we often find ourselves sacrificing our well-being, safety, and comfort. Nook aims to change that narrative with our refined, luxury camper vans that feature a full bathroom, shower, and toilet, along with thoughtful, usefuless approaches to the design of our hideaway kitchen and convertible bedroom and sofa. Our commitment to the details is an expression of our belief that both the journey itself and a connection with the destination are the reason(s) we travel, explore, and live in our Nooks, proudly made in Los Angeles, California.

Sharing a few of our favorite warm finish options. We love blending materials with varying textures and colors to create personalized spaces.

How would you customize your Nook?

All hand on deck as we work to finish two vans for some very special clients. In the midst of so much chaos and pain, counting on our coworkers and process is a daily refuge. We work to keep the energy high and the output phenomenal.

Those who have visited our shop know that the E line runs right behind it and features heavily in the soundtrack of our work lives. We love the train and the way it connects us to greater Los Angeles and planning and architecture as a whole. We welcome you to come visit by car (an easy trip off the 10) or by train- the stop is just one block away.

Our waterproof utility spa transforms to fit your needs- it’s your warm shower, bathroom, mud room and gear garage in one.

- Your spacious and steam filled shower (usable inside and outside your van) is unsurpassed in luxury, earning its title as the “spa.”

- Your pristine and private bathroom is there for you whenever you need it. The dry-flush toilet vacuum-seals each flush, ensuring no odors and effortless disposal.

- Your outdoor gear and garments have cozy place to call home. Rinse off the dirt, turn on the ceiling fan, and rest easy knowing your belongings are safely stowed away.

It’s simple: it’s your utility spa.

Adequate storage is an essential part of a camper van, and our closet ✨delivers✨. We designed it to work with you and be a pleasure to use; with a right angle door that allows you to see everything in at once, shelves *and* hanging space, velcro compatible panels for small items, and extra storage for bulky items above and below. It’s a place for your clothes and gear to disappear, so the rest of your van can be clean and calm.

All of our furniture is made with an aircraft grade aluminum frame and structural connections, marine grade hardware, and UV-finished sustainable bamboo or domestic maple, with carpet-lined shelves for slide-free storage. These premium materials come at a higher cost, but we think they are worth it. Three factors drive our reasoning:

1. Environmental stewardship through sustainable materials is important.
2. These materials result in the lightest and most drivable possible vans.
3. We want our vans to go the distance. Our furniture is engineered to feel good and look great for years to come, and to be repairable in the case of accidental damage. We design for the future; and we also test every peice of furniture in our vans before they go out the door, ensuring nothing rattles and everything works smoothly.

Enjoy this detailed look at our closet design, and let us know- what other features would like to see? We are always open to new ideas, and we’d love to hear yours.

Welcome to the official Nook Vans page! Unfortunately, our previous page was hacked, so we’re starting fresh here and we’re excited to reconnect with our community.

For those new to Nook, we design and build thoughtfully crafted camper vans that are built to last, versatile, and are comfortable far off the grid.

Here on our new page, we’ll be sharing stories from our owners, behind-the-scenes looks at our builds, and tips for life on the road.
