The automotive industry is evolving fast, forcing even giants like Audi to rethink their strategy. The latest proof? The all-new Audi A6 Avant. Originally set to be replaced by the A6 e-tron, shifting market dynamics—slower EV adoption in Europe and the U.S., plus China’s preference for local brands—pushed Audi to keep its combustion lineup alive.
This sleek wagon was initially meant to be the A7 Avant, but Audi reversed course, bringing back the iconic A6 nameplate. With design cues from the A5 and Q5, striking headlights that flow into the grille, and a sharp, dynamic profile, it’s a stunning evolution.
What’s new?
• New PPC platform – Shared with the A5 and Q5.
• Best-in-class aerodynamics – A Cd value of just 0.25.
• Powertrains – 2.0L turbo-diesel (204 CV) in FWD/AWD or a 3.0L V6 (367 CV). PHEVs and high-performance S/RS models coming soon.
Audi is making sure the A6 Avant stays a leader in the premium wagon segment.
Would you go for the Shooting Brake or Sedan variant of the Audi A6?
