Job Overview:
Primary job duty is to clean and prepare the interior of our equipment. Making sure they are rental-ready.
Essential Job Functions:
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent self-injury or damage to floors and fixtures.
• Safely mix water and detergents or chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to chemical instructions/specifications (MSDS).
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using appropriate cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or any equipment malfunction.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Clean bathroom equipment, such as glassware or metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags, or power cleaning equipment.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the company.
• Meet Attendance Policy Guidelines.
• Meet with supervisor to review information pertinent to the job performance, such as daily assignments, business levels, pending projects, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
• High School graduated or equivalent job experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Housekeeping or Aircraft cleaner experience (preferred)
SKILLS:
• Must engage work with a high sense of urgency and be detail-oriented.
• Must be able to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Must perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Must be reliable and be flexible in schedule.
• Must operate clean and organized, and maintain all equipment required in job functions.
• Work cohesively with all levels of management, all departments and co-workers as part of a team.
• Adherence to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Work well under pressure of meeting timelines.
• Ability to use senses to ensure quality standards are met.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequently move/traverse
• Ascend/descend steps to enter and exit trailer restroom.
• Constantly positions self to bend, lift, stoop, reach, and lift.
• Must be able to lift/move/carry up to 25-30 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
• This position works both indoor and outdoor.
• Ability to work around loud noises.
• Ability to work around chemical cleaning solutions.
