One year ago today, I lost the love of my life.
There are no words that can fully describe how much I miss my husband, Sarkis. Not a day has gone by that I haven’t thought about him, spoken his name, remembered his laughter, or wished I could share just one more conversation with him.
This past year has been one of the most difficult journeys of my life. Learning to navigate this world without him by my side has not been easy. Yet even in his absence, his presence is still felt every day. His love, his wisdom, his strength, and the example he set continue to guide me and our children through every challenge and every blessing.
I know Sarkis would be incredibly proud of David and Michael. They stepped forward during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced and have worked tirelessly to carry on the legacy their father spent a lifetime building. Watching them grow into their roles and seeing the dedication they bring each day has been one of the greatest blessings to come from such profound loss.
As a family, we have come so far this past year. Not because we stopped grieving, but because Sarkis prepared us well. The values he lived by, his work ethic, his integrity, his love for family, and his commitment to doing what was right continue to shape the decisions we make every day.
I still miss him more than words can express. I miss his voice, his smile, his presence, and the comfort of simply having him near. But I am so grateful for the 42 years we shared together, for the beautiful family we built, and for the countless memories that will remain in my heart forever.
Today, on the one year anniversary of his passing, I honor not only the man I loved, but the husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and mentor who touched so many lives.
I also want to take a moment to thank our wonderful customers for your loyalty, patience, kindness, and support throughout this very difficult year. Many of you have been with us for decades, and your continued trust in our family and in Norm’s Automotive Center, Inc. has meant more than words can express. We appreciate you, we care about you, and we are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, encouragement, and support you have shown us as we continue forward with Sarkis’s legacy.
Sarkis, you are loved beyond measure, missed beyond words, and remembered every single day.
Your legacy lives on through your sons, David and Michael, the family you loved so deeply, the business you devoted your life to building, and the many lives you touched along the way.
