Man that lower drain bolt came out WAY faster than I was expecting! Luckily I just used a torch to break it free, so it was super hot trying to find it in the flood of oil coming out with my bare hands, so I could stick it back in. This is why I can’t have nice things.

Let me just tell you how dirty Conway Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram did me this morning…. I brought in my Rubicon for some warranty work; it’s got some age and some miles on it now, smells like the beach, French fries and memories. Instead of making me wait, my service advisor was kind enough to set me up in a loaner. He put me in a BRAND NEW Jeep Gladiator, complete with that new car smell. Now I’m trying to justify a $50k shop truck when I already have jeeps and tow vehicles. (But I don’t have a gladiator!) I still stand by the fact that for new vehicle service, Conway Jeep can’t be matched! (For the old stuff, come see me)

We are taking a break from grinding, cutting, and sheet metal work for the next few days, in order to celebrate America’s 250th (and get some relief from this heat)! Normal operations will resume July 7th. Happy 4th everyone!

It’s been a crazy few weeks! So many jeeps come in and out that we forget to share all the fun! “Wild Child” got pick up and delivery service to get her back straight for road trip season. Full chassis l**e, fluid change, replacing some old leaky gaskets, brake job and transfer case reseal got this old girl feeling much better and cleaner for cruising the Carolina coast!

Last piece of our 82 scrambler floor pans just arrived! We’ve used pans from Classic Enterprise with great luck, but just needing to cut this guy up for some patches to the driver side. Lots of welding ahead, then, PAINT
