Hello everyone- it is with true regret to announce that Ruleys Santa Claus Land will be permanently closed as of this year 2023. We are so thankful we were able to stay open for the 6 years that we did after the loss of the main man behind it all. We did keep it open for him and we are proud that we were able to carry on the family tradition for several years after his passing. Unfortunately, many things have changed and it’s been harder and harder to keep things up and going.
With that being said we want to thank each and everyone of you who took the time to come visit us over the many years we were open. We appreciate all the conversations, smiles and donations but especially appreciate all the new and amazing people we got to meet along the way. You all became family to us and we will miss seeing everyone.
Ruleys was started many years ago as a small light show for our family to enjoy and it grew so much bigger than that and when it grew- my grandpa (Paul) and my grandma Darnell got to watch families being brought back together and enjoying the holidays again - it truly meant more than anyone will ever know to them! 🩷
We would also like to give the biggest shoutout to Paul’s right hand man who helped him all of these years and the years after his passing- Tommy Gootee! Without him putting these up every year after Paul’s passing there is no way the Christmas light show would have went on- he was always there by his side to help him and we are so thankful for his hard work and dedication.
We appreciate everyone and we hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas- we will be thinking of you all and we will always have a special place in our hearts for each of you. 🎅
