Speedtek Auto Racing Parts updates!!
We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved with our Quick Change Differential program over the last year. What started as an ambitious project has quickly grown into one of the most exciting programs within Speedtek Auto Racing, with customers and professional drivers around the world putting their trust in our products.
Today, we wanted to provide a small update regarding how our U.S. orders will be handled moving forward.
With an extremely overwhelming amount of orders coming from our American customers, the team has made the decision that all U.S. sold units will now be assembled in the United States.
Some may ask, why?
The answer is simple, we want to provide the fastest possible turnaround times. Our Melbourne headquarters is currently operating at maximum capacity, and we have identified that keeping up with the rapidly growing demand in the United States from Australia alone would become increasingly difficult.
So what are we doing?
For the foreseeable future, all U.S. units will be assembled at our North Branch, Minnesota facility. This approach provides several major benefits. Since we do not offer a one-size-fits-all differential, our customers have the ability to choose from numerous color options, axle shaft variations, gear combinations, and other custom configurations. Having local assembly allows us to tailor each unit far more efficiently.
This also gives us the ability to offer additional services such as isotropic super finishing on gears, shafts, and other components where required by the customer.
At the moment, we are loading a container from our Melbourne headquarters that will contain several fully assembled differentials to fulfill some of our earlier pre-orders. However, the majority of the shipment will consist of components that our U.S. team can assemble locally.
As demand continues to grow, Speedtek will also begin expanding its manufacturing capabilities within the United States to further support the market. These developments require time, investment, and resources, but they represent another important step forward for our company.
