Tips to Help Prevent Major A/C Repairs:

1. Replace your cabin air filter every 12,000 to 15,000 miles or as recommended by the manufacturer to maintain proper air flow.

2. Whenever possible, park in shaded areas to reduce heat buildup and lessen the strain on your a/c system at startup.

3. Avoid using recirculation mode continuously, especially in humid conditions. Allowing fresh air circulation helps improve airflow and reduces moisture buildup inside the system.

4. Schedule an annual A/C System inspection with a qualified automotive repair shop. Proper refrigerant levels are essential. Low refrigerant can cause the evaporator to freeze, leading to added stress on its delicate aluminum components.
