It's Friday, and between the heat and humidity, it's not a perfect day to go on the dyno. But you have to do what you need to. Earlier this week, Steven W. brought us his beautiful black '04 Z06 in for track upgrades. Brey Krause harness bar, some Schroth 6-point belts, and Sparco race seats. We strapped Dave's car down after installing the BTR Stage 2- V2 cam and the Landspeed ported and polished heads. A few other goodies. We did some street logging and then went to town on the dyno. We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July. Starting the week off, we have Raul C.'s 2001 Corvette in for an A/C compressor replacement. Zee A's C8 ZO6 is in for a brake bleed, routine maintenance, and inspection, getting ready for another track day. Dave P's ZO6 motor is back in the car and writing the startup file and will do some data logging, getting it ready for the dyno. Steve W will be bringing his C5 in later this week for the harness bar and harnesses, brake lines, and pads. Some preventive maintenance before he and son hit the tracks with her.

We have Dave P's LS7 engine assembled with the BTR LS7 STAGE 2 V2 CAMSHAFT 230/25X, .650"/.650", 116 LSA; Mahle pistons; and the Landspeed heads are installed with some BTR dual springs and a BTR trunnion kit. She is back in the car with the upgraded torque tube build. Get the wheels on her up on the lift and finish the headers and other essentials, fill her with fluid, and fire her up, and then head off to the dyno. Completed the new brake lines for Jonathan's C5 Corvette conversion to the MK60E ABS unit. Brett at LandSpeed shipped the heads for Dave P's LS7 ZO6. Not only are they beautiful, but based on the others he has done for us, they flow unbelievably. You can really make some power and torque with these.

It's Friday and the end of another long week. Finished up Nick D's 07 Corvette with an LS2 cam install. Installed a BTR stage 3 cam and trunion kit. New oil pump, timing chain and tuned her. On a hot and humid day she put down 419.88 RWHP. She sounds wicked with the straight pipes and the lope of the cam. Michael A.'s ZO6 Corvette: We finished the roll bar and back half of the cage for now. Just starting out in tracking the beast and wanted some additional safety. We finished painting her in a beautiful gloss red. Installing the OMP seat and harnesses and some Hawk pads, and off to Sebring she'll be going. https://xpmotorsports.com/
