Mocking things up to see where everything will land as far as body mounts. I stretched a YJ frame to 101" wheelbase. Next on this list is to get the engine, transmission, transfer case installed.

To say August hasn't been busy would be a understatement! Picked up the lowered yellow 1951 CJ3 Willys. Drove the brown Willys on the Rubicon and checked out Hot August Nights in Reno. Then, I bought a MB Willys, a YJ, another Jeepster, and some drivetrain to power next year's Rubicon build all last weekend. Today I stretched the YJ frame from 93.4" to 101".

Happy Friday everyone! I did the ole swaparoo with the axles below the leaf springs. I also swapped the axles and got disc brakes now and an open knuckle front end. Maiden voyage to Sand Lake tomorrow morning for the Vintage 4x4 gathering.

Back to a four wheel drive again. Axle swap yesterday evening.
