Job Requirements:

MUST LIVE WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF LONGMONT'S CITY LIMITS

Clean motor vehicle record
Pass a drug screening

Commission based pay 28% to 35%

The job duties of a light duty tow operator include but are not limited to:

- Clear, concise, and professional communication

- Responsible for timely, complete, clean and legible invoicing via Towbook for all work performed.

- Required to keep a log sheet of all tows completed for payroll purposes

- Required to maintain and care for assigned equipment, completing inventory inspections

- Responsible for daily pre-trip inspections and timely reporting to the maintenance division on any issues.

- Responsible for end of shift post trip inspection and timely reporting to the maintenance division on any issues.

- Responsible for the cleanliness of the truck both inside and out

- Required to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

- Responsible for his/her punctuality to customers, cowokers

- Responsible for the safe operation of a light duty rollback and/or wrecker to include other various equipment i.e. - skidsteers, forklifts, backhoes, ect.

Last week’s snow storm created extremely dangerous driving conditions across Northern Colorado. While we know the weather was abnormal, incidents like the one in this video are a reminder of how important it is to SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER anytime you see emergency lights, tow trucks, fire, EMS, or law enforcement on the side of the road.

Our drivers, first responders, and roadside workers put themselves in harm’s way every day to help keep the roads safe and open. A few extra seconds of caution can prevent serious accidents and save lives.

Please remember:
❄️ Slow down in poor weather
🚨 Move over when you see flashing lights
🛑 Stay alert and avoid distractions
🙏 Give roadside workers the space they need to work safely

This incident could have been avoided if more caution had been taken by everyone involved. Let’s all do our part to keep Colorado roads safer this winter.
