Back in my childhood we had growing up and thats where I first saw this bike. I had kept the print photo that come with the gum and saw it first years later in my teens where all streetracers met in the night. Had a chance to ride a when I was 12 (almost sh”t my pants) and the blackbird was even faster than that with 164hp. These numbers in 1999 was a big deal! Injection system is trick. Induction noise is super sexy. Ahead of its time for sure.
Fast forward to today and I am able to work on this barnfind big legend in my shop, at 500 miles, not even broken in yet… can’t wait to take this thing for a test ride before it goes up for sale. This thing should be in a collection after we are done with it. HRC
