The three amigos behind KED Mohtors have their own merch!

The bosses, the future mechanics, and the three reasons we started this whole adventure in the first place.

One is probably giving orders, one is supervising, and the littlest one is just here for the snacks and to make sure nobody gets too much work done. 🤣

We know we’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but don’t let the lack of posts fool you! The shop has been CRAZY busy, and we’ve been keeping our heads down, turning wrenches, and getting bikes back on the road. Well…the mechanic has, the rest of us just stay out of the way. Kinda

We’re beyond thankful for everyone who’s trusted us with their bikes, shared our posts, spread the word, or supported our little family-owned business. You guys are keeping us busy, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We might be a little behind on the social media side of things, but we promise the mechanic is still working. His unpaid social media manager is just trying to keep up. 🫠🤣

Happy 1st Birthday to the littlest member of KED Mohtors — our boy, Dawson! ❤️🎉

The “D” in KED officially turns ONE today. 🥹

It’s hard to believe an entire year has gone by since this little guy joined our family. In just 365 days, he’s managed to completely steal our hearts, keep us on our toes, and somehow earn himself the position of Expert Garage Advisor despite having absolutely no mechanical certifications. 😂🔧🏍️

KED has always been about more than motorcycles. The name itself represents the three little humans who are at the heart of everything we do — Kora, Eleanor, and Dawson. ❤️

Someday, Dawson might be out in that garage turning wrenches right alongside Dad. But for now, his responsibilities mostly include supervising, stealing tools he definitely shouldn’t have, and looking cute while everyone else works.

Happy FIRST birthday, little man. ❤️ We love you more than you’ll ever know.

We have more KED Mohtors stickers that we’d love to drop off to any local businesses willing to display one in their shop, storefront, garage, or wherever you have a little extra space!

🚨 KED Mohtors has brought in outside expertise. 🚨

Today’s bike is being worked on under the VERY watchful eye of our newest expert advisor, Dawson. 🔧🏍️

His qualifications include:
• Absolutely no mechanical experience
• Can’t read a service manual
• Mostly communicates through yelling and pointing
• Will attempt to steal any tool left within reach
• Takes frequent snack breaks
• Management cannot fire him because his initials are literally on the company 🤷‍♀️😂

So if this bike leaves the shop running better than ever, you know who to thank.

If it doesn’t… he’s a baby. Take it up with his dad. 🤣

🚨 EMPLOYEE INTRODUCTION 🚨

And I use the word employee VERY loosely.

Hi, I’m Megan — fiancée of the mechanic, mom of the K, E & D behind KED Mohtors, and the self-appointed Director of Social Media, Public Relations & Mechanic Harassment. 🫡

Nobody hired me.
Nobody interviewed me.
There was absolutely no background check.

I simply acquired the Facebook password and assumed the position.

My motorcycle knowledge can best be described as ✨developing✨.

I can identify a motorcycle.
I know it needs gas.
I know “that noise probably isn’t good.”
And after that, we’re getting dangerously outside my area of expertise.

Luckily, I’m with the guy who actually knows what he’s doing.

While he handles repairs, diagnostics, builds, and all the other things involving tools I’ve been specifically asked not to misplace, I handle the important stuff:

📱 Posting on Facebook
📸 Taking pictures while he’s trying to work
💬 Answering messages
🙄 Asking “what does that do?” 47 times
💸 Questioning whether we really needed another tool
👀 Providing completely unsolicited supervision

Basically, he fixes the motorcycles and I provide ✨brand awareness✨.

The kids gave KED Mohtors its name, Dad provides the talent, and Mom makes sure the internet knows about it.

You might be wondering… what does “KED” in KED Mohtors actually stand for? 🤔🏍️

No, it’s not some fancy motorcycle term.

K — Kora
E — Eleanor
D — Dawson

The three little humans behind the name. ❤️

When we were coming up with a name for the shop, we wanted it to mean more than just motorcycles. KED comes from the first initial of each of our kids’ names — because at the end of the day, they’re the reason behind everything we do.

KED Mohtors may be built on a love for motorcycles, busted knuckles, and probably more than a few choice words in the garage… 😂🔧 but behind it all is family.

This shop is something we’re building from the ground up, and hopefully one day, when Kora, Eleanor, and Dawson are older, they’ll look at that name and know they were a part of it from the very beginning.

🏍️🔧 Well… I guess we’re making it official. Welcome to KED Mohtors! 🔧🏍️

After years of working on motorcycles, buying tools he “definitely needed,” spending entirely too much time in the garage, and being the guy friends and family call when something needs fixed… we decided it was finally time to turn something he loves into something of his own.

Meet Dean Mohler, the man behind KED Mohtors — husband, dad, motorcycle enthusiast, and quite possibly happiest when he has a wrench in his hand and a bike torn apart in front of him. 😂

What started with working on his own bikes turned into helping friends, family, and anyone who happened to say, “Hey, while you’re out there… can you look at this?”

Somewhere along the way, the idea of having his own shop went from “maybe someday” to “why not now?”

And here we are. ❤️

KED Mohtors is a small, family-owned motorcycle repair business built around something pretty simple: do good work, be honest, charge a fair price, and treat every bike like it’s your own.

Whether you need routine maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or you roll up saying “I don’t know what it’s doing, but it definitely shouldn’t be doing THAT,” he’s your guy. 😂🔧

We may be starting small, but we’re incredibly proud of what he’s building and excited to see where this adventure takes us. Our hope is that KED Mohtors becomes the kind of shop where people know they can bring their bike, get an honest answer, and feel good about who they’re trusting it with.

And because small businesses really do grow through word of mouth, every like, follow, share, recommendation, and “Hey, I know a guy” means more to our family than you probably realize. ❤️

Thank you for being here at the beginning and supporting this crazy little dream of his.

Now somebody please bring this man a bike to work on before he finds another reason to tell me we need a new tool. 😂🤦‍♀️
