We want to give a HUGE shout out to Josh Estep! Josh works in our Rivet Department on 2nd shift. Josh is a dedicated and very attention driven employee. Recently Josh’s attention to detail caught a quality issue before it completed the assembly process. Josh reported the issue and went above and beyond to ensure containment. Employees like Josh remind us that the details matter and going above and beyond does not go unnoticed. 💙🏆

He has a steady commitment to “get the job done” no matter the circumstances, and ensures that he is always available. His work ethic, attendance and attitude is unmatched. He leads his team by example - there is not one job that he does not perform alongside their team. Mikey juggles schedule changes with a smile, and is willing to do whatever is needed to achieve success!

Several of our employees participated in the Laurel County Backpack program on 9/29/26. This is such a rewarding experience.
The food bags are sent to children in the Laurel County school system, who may not get food on the weekends. We are thankful to all employees who participated and lended a helping hand. ❤️

It is our pleasure to announce Roger Creech as our October 2026 Employee of the Month!

Roger joined Highlands on February 7, 2024, beginning his career with us as a Weld Operator. On May 6, 2024, Roger transitioned into the role of Press Operator II, where he has continued to expand his knowledge, skills, and value to our team.

Roger has taken ownership of the additional press work at the Burley building and has made it a priority to learn every aspect of those operations. He can independently set up every tool at our Burley location with no follow-up required and consistently works to run each tool at the best SPM possible while maintaining HDS' expectations for quality.

His knowledge and versatility extend well beyond Burley. Roger can set up and operate nearly every mechanical press at the Main Plant and will step into hand-transfer operations without hesitation. No matter what task he is given, Roger approaches it with a positive attitude and without complaint. He is dependable, hardworking, and always focused on achieving the best possible results.

Roger also has an outstanding attendance record with zero attendance points, demonstrating the reliability and commitment we value in our employees.

What stands out most about Roger is his attitude. He is a humble, stand-up individual who comes to work, does what is asked of him, and strives every day for both productivity and quality. He doesn't seek recognition for his efforts—he simply works hard and gets the job done.

Roger's willingness to learn, ability to work independently, versatility, dependability, and commitment to doing the job right make him very deserving of this recognition.
