Hello fellow car club friends!!
The Lompoc Antique Car Club recently went to Rideau Winery in Solvang for a wonderful afternoon of food and laughter! If you missed it, you missed a great day! See photos attached.

June 18 â Strawberry Shortcake and other yummy desserts! Meet at Home Depot parking lot at 10:30, drive to Sandi Millerâs house in Solvang. Relax and enjoy wonderful times with great friends. Please RSVP so we have PLENTY of yummy treats for everyone.

July 8 â Piper Club Fly-In, Lompoc Airport. Bring you car to show it off and enjoy the day with airplane enthusiasts. For more information on this event and our plans, contact Barry Weaver. More information will be sent as we get closer to the event.
July 14 - Lompoc High School Cruise Night. Meet at the Lompoc City Offices on Ocean Ave., then cruise like you were a kid!
August 5 â Jalama Beach for burgers. Yes, the road has been repaired! Save the date! Barbara Carter is hosting this tour. More information as we get closer to the event.
August 11+12 â Lompoc Police Department Car Show. Show off your car at âcruise nightâ on Friday, up & down Ocean Avenue. On Saturday the car fun continues at Ryon Park with prizes and events all day long. More information as the event gets closer.
August 31-Sept 4 â Our annual âDonnie Chamberâs Memorial Car Runâ kicks off on Thursday and runs through the Labor Day weekend, with events and tours you wonât want to miss. With a big showing from our out of town guests, we hope to have a strong showing from our supportive membership as well. Donât miss out! Rod McCarthy is hosting this run. More information as the event gets closer.
October 25 â This year the longstanding âApple Farm Tourâ which was hosted by Gert Gehlhaar for many years will be one to remember! This year will officially kick-off the 1st Annual âGert Gehlhaarâs Gopher Glen Apple Farm Memorial Tourâ. The mid-week event will include many of Gertâs good friends from the King Midget Club who will be coming from far and wide to join in the kick-off. Also invited are the Chevy Club and Model A Club Members who have joined us many times for this event. Donât miss it, it will be a wonderful day!
November 5 â Nojoqui Falls Car Show. Always held on the first SUNDAY of November and never a dull moment! Event time is 8-3. We will keep you posted on any additional plans for that day, like meeting for breakfast, or driving around pre-post the show.
December 2 - âAnnual Meeting of All Membersâ. This is a breakfast meeting. We will meet at Home Depot parking lot at 9:30 and drive to Buellton for breakfast at Mother Hubbardâs Restaurant. After a quick vote to elect the new Board, yummy breakfast with friends, what could be better!
December 12 â Board Meeting of newly elected Board Members. Date and Time TBD.
December 14 â Annual Holiday Dinner Party. This year we are hoping to go to âTrattoria Ulivetoâ in Old Orcutt for a âfabulousâ Italian dinner. Arrangements are still in the works, so stay tuned for more information as the time get closer!
