Automotive Repair Shop Seeks Full Charge Bookkeeper with Human Resources Experience
GPS Auto Solutions is looking for a full-time, full charge bookkeeper with human resource experience for our well-established family-owned automotive repair shop.
About You:
· Detail oriented with great pride in your work product and where you work.
· A dedicated team member who plays well with others.
· Well organized and able to maintain a clean and orderly office.
· Able to multi-task and work independently to ensure timely completion of duties.
· Have two-plus years of experience with Quickbooks.
· Willing to learn software programs and office procedures, and take direction as needed.
· Professional in appearance and demeanor, with a take-charge, can-do attitude.
Duties Include:
· Balancing daily receipts.
· Handling accounts receivable and payable.
· Preparing and making bank deposits as needed each week.
· Reconciling bank statements and parts invoices monthly.
· Entering all necessary transactions into Quickbooks and preparing monthly reports.
· Submitting payroll, payroll taxes, and retirement contributions biweekly.
· Submitting quarterly taxes, California sales tax, and working with the company's accountant as needed.
· General office duties such as filing, answering the phone when needed, and handling mail.
About Our Shop:
· Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM. This position is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in-office. This is not a remote position.
