NOW HIRING — SERVICE WRITER / OFFICE RECEPTIONIST
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated person to join our team at Lodi Shell Inc. This is a great opportunity to become part of a well-established, family-operated automotive repair shop that values honesty, teamwork, and great customer service.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, both in person and over the phone. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping people.
Job Responsibilities include:
• Greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Answering incoming phone calls and assisting customers with questions
• Scheduling service appointments and managing the daily shop calendar
• Writing service orders and accurately entering customer and vehicle information
• Communicating with technicians and customers about repair updates
• Providing estimates, explaining services, and helping customers understand repairs
• Handling basic office duties such as filing, invoicing, and data entry
• Keeping the front office organized and running smoothly
We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Can multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
• Has strong communication skills (phone and in-person)
• Has automotive knowledge or prior shop experience — a strong plus, but not required
• Works well as part of a small, family-style team
$22.50–$30+/hour depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No nights, no weekends
