HELPING A FAMILY IN NEED! Each year Michael Barbee and I have always helped a family in need in our own way. This year we have elected to work together as a team and do it through Barbee’s Garage. We lost a good friend Angel Chavez about a month ago after he had complications with Covid. We have both worked with him in the past. Angel was a dedicated employee, husband and father to 4 children. His wife is torn to pieces and unable to provide her kids with a good Christmas. We wish to ask all of our friends, family or customers that are able, to make a donation to help her out this Christmas. They are very good people. As most of you know they recently had opened a repair shop in Locust. Unfortunately Angel passed before they got it up and going good. We want to show her that good friends still exist. We will be able to take donations through Cash, Check, Gift Card, Venmo , PayPal or Cash App. Every little bit helps so please understand that no donation is to small. We will be closed May 31, 2021 in observation of Memorial Day! We will resume normal business hours on June 1st. We’d like to take a moment to let our customers know that we greatly appreciate each of you. We have been very fortunate and blessed to have work. It’s hard to tell someone they may have to wait a week sometimes. We work hard and do all we can and we certainly appreciate your patience and understanding. Thanks for the continued business.

We wish to send prayers and our condolences to the family, friends and coworkers of Steven “Smitty” Smith. It was always a good time when he came by the garage. We always enjoyed his determination for sports rivalry. This tag was hung up by Smitty himself and it’s a remembrance every day! This customer lost oil pressure and it caused chaos in the engine. I don’t know what is worse, a V10 or a 6.4. Engine installed, cab on and Michael fired it up today before we left. It should be ready to roll. Thanks Dave for your business.
