1954 Ford pickup came in for suspension and engine upgrade. Common front suspension upgrade back in the day before today's modern suspension kits was to graft on a Plymouth Volare torsion bar suspension. It was better than the original Ford I beam front axle but doesn't handle the best. We removed it repaired the frame rails and installed a TCI coil over independent front suspension. Swapped the manual trans for a Ford AOD overdrive automatic and added a fuel Holley Sniper II fuel injection and hyperspark ignition.

Delivered the Chris Craft today getting the final step upholstery! Been using Finish Line Interiors in Santa Clara for over 20 years when your one of the best upholstery shops in CA even i have to get one the wait list. Towed it the longest distance since I found the boat in W**d CA went straight and smooth down the road.
