Playing with getting some tire representation, arms, pickup points, construction lines to help get the rack in a good spot for bump steer.

Also added an to the tool box to get some meshes for things like bell housing, torque tube, transmission, etc.
Big scan project upcoming is doing the whole underside of the car and engine bay.

This scanning and 3d modeling really allows you to do some really cool stuff before saw ever meets metal.

Found some 3d models online, got an engine bay scan from 3MI Racing LLC, and have been playing with fitment of suspension arms, tires, arms to see how things will fit and give me some ideas on how best to build a subframe that fits everything but allows for good repair and maintenance.
By the end of this project my 3D cad skills should be much improved.

Well after getting about a year of enjoyment from the I have come upon another issue with a Subaru motor. Instead of rebuilding it for the 4th time I'm heavily leaning towards joining the movement and putting some kind of aluminum block LS into either the Forester or the Volvo.
Probably some version of 8.8 IRS as well.
Let me know what you'd prefer to see.
