We try to break our trucks 😳

We take our trucks to real trails to test them in the wild, but we also engineer them during development like the OEMs. This is a BTS glimpse at RT6 testing on one of our advanced 4-post rigs, which allow us to simulate various road conditions. Every suspension system we engineer is stress-tested to OEM+ standards to ensure they perform on and off-road.

Heard you like performance trucks. How's this one? 😏 🏁

This 2000 No. 99 Exide Ford F-150 is Roush Racing chassis B061/CT12, powered by a naturally aspirated 358-cubic-inch Roush Racing Ford V-8 and backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Race hardware includes 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes with slotted rotors, 15-inch race wheels, Goodyear Eagle radial race tires, a full roll cage, a ButlerBuilt racing seat and AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite instrumentation.

Kurt Busch drove this truck during his 2000 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rookie season, when he earned Rookie of the Year honors, won four races and finished second in the championship. Chassis B061/CT12 also scored a victory at Dover that season.

More than 25 years later, that same competition-driven approach to chassis development, handling and performance still carries through to the Roush Performance trucks we build today.

This 1934 Ford Roadster was the first car Jack Roush prepared for the Great Race, making the run from Livonia, Michigan, all the way to Daytona Beach, Florida, in 2003.
