Maple Road Boyz

Maple Road Boyz Every May through September we have a weekly car cruise at Clay Park Central. This led to the generic club name. The yearly weekend at the Syracuse Nationals.

The Maple Boyz Car Club was started in 2008 by a bunch of friends on one stretch of road who all owned classic muscle cars, cruised to the local cruise nites and shows together. While membership now includes people not actually living on the road, the original name stuck. Club “meetings” are held weekly during breakfast at a local diner. Highlights include:
A yearly trip to Spring Carlisle in the

club owned RV. A Tuesday cruise nite started and run by the club at Clay Park Central. Caravanning together to the various car shows and weekly nite spots.

Featured Cruiser of the week!
Chuck & his 1966 Ford Mustang

Chuck’s first car was a '66 Mustang, so when this one narrowly escaped becoming a Harbor Fest raffle car 30+ years ago, he knew he had to sn**ch this steed up!

A unique beautiful blue—complete with a custom license plate inspired by his grandson, who named it "Papa’s Tang."

Hey all!

A few things for those who may have missed or haven't had the opportunity to cruise with us yet this season.

First, fellow cruiser Karen Mckay has graciously volunteered to donate a custom tumbler mug for the cruiser of the week winner! Each mug will include the owner's vehicle. Interested in having your own mug made at a reasonable price? Send Karen a message!

Second, Jimmy has created a new game that will reward you with a free meal- a hot dog, salt potato, and drink. How does it work you ask? Each week there will be a secret word (automotive related) pinned up by the food concession area and also be announced during the door prizes and 50/50. The following week when the album of photos are posted there will be one photo that includes a character. Be the first to comment on said photo with the secret word and you shall be a winner! So, when 05.19's photos are posted tomorrow evening be sure to have a look through.
Note: It does not have to be your vehicle in the photo, you just have to be the first to comment. One win per season. Congratulations to Dave Simone for being the debut winner!
See ya tomorrow!

Featured Cruiser of the Week!

Rick & his 1979 Dodge Lil' Red Express.

Rick’s history with this truck goes way back. This is actually his second Lil' Red Express—he owned his first one in his 20s and used it as a daily driver for a whopping 30 years! The love for these trucks runs in the family, too; Rick’s Father had Dodge pickup and he always thought it was damn cool.

Rick's favorite memories?

-Taking his kids to hang out in the truck bed during Trick-or-Treating.
-Driving through tunnels to hear the exhaust echo from the vertical pipes where his kids would raise their arms like a roller coaster ride!
