Toiling away on necks for 5 new guitars. Gluing, routing and shaping. Tomorrow I do the fretting. I'll be cranking away all weekend, so come on out and say 'hi'. Might even have time for a little jamming.

Another Plain Jane guitar, also built for an artist to decorate. This one is on it's way to Kira Tashjian in Los Angeles. It is a full scale 4 string in Standard tuning (D,G,B,E). It is an old style level neck, without a depth routing. It has F holes rather than the circular hole I've been doing lately because the circular hole really only works with the depth routed neck style. This is the precursor to the 4 new 'Personality' tenor guitars I'm creating. They will likely be identical to Kira's guitar in basic design, except that they will be short scale instruments. After construction they will be decorated with a different woman on the back of each, with their insides and outsides decorated to compliment that woman's personality.

Artwork for signs for the shop. I'm hoping to have a sign that's easy to read, and looks cool. Which is best?

A Plain Jane 6 string made out of a box I bought at a crafts store. The 6 string neck was too big for a regular cigar box. This guitar was built for an artist who wanted to decorate it himself, so that's why it's so boring looking.

Do we make basses? Yes we do. .. .even 4 string ones, although this 4 stringer only had 3 on in the pic. Billie Jane Duffey is seen here trying on the Janet Planet bass to test the balance. It has all 4 strings on it now and is ready to rock the Time Warp.
