Granite Mountain Quarries Whatever the project, Granite Mountain Quarries has the crushed stone materials you need. We ship to

Since our first stone was mined more than fifty years ago, Granite Mountain Quarries has been built on quality, service, safety, community and family. These ideals have been the keystone of our business since day one. They are also the qualities that have enabled us to grow from a small, local crushed stone quarry to a leading producer of industrial and construction materials in the southeastern United States. We have four quarries in Central Arkansas, conveniently located near the Arkansas River and Interstates I-40 and I-30 for easy shipping by barge or truck. We also have direct access to the Union Pacific Railroad, which allows us to transport our material from coast to coast by rail.

Aggregates like crushed stone make up a large portion of concrete by volume. That means the rock produced at quarries like GMQ can ultimately become part of everything from sidewalks and foundations to bridges and buildings.

Rock is everywhere—you just might not always see it!

We're proud to congratulate Jay Canada, recipient of the James M. Christie Safety and Health Professional of the Year Award from the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association.

This national award recognizes individuals who make an exceptional impact on safety and health throughout the aggregates industry, and Jay has spent his career doing exactly that.

For more than 18 years with Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel and the McGeorge Associated Companies, Inc., Jay has helped shape a culture where safety is more than a requirement, it's a shared responsibility. At the heart of Jay's work is a commitment to creating safer workplaces, strengthening teams, and making sure every employee goes home safely at the end of the day.

With a career in heavy civil construction dating back to 1986, Jay brings decades of field experience, leadership and a deep commitment to the people behind the work.

Congratulations, Jay, on this well-deserved recognition. We're thankful for your dedication to keeping our teams safe!

It's ROCKTOBER at Granite Mountain Quarries!

All month long, we're celebrating the rock, the people, and the work behind the materials that help build our communities.

From roads and bridges to homes, businesses, and infrastructure, it all starts with the right foundation. Around here, October is all about the ROCK.

Our story began in 1964, when Wallace P. McGeorge, Jr. founded Granite Mountain Quarries alongside H. Tyndall Dickinson, who served as President from 1964 to 1995.

More than 60 years later, we're still guided by the same commitment to quality, service, safety, community, and family. Those values continue to shape who we are and where we're headed.

During Su***de Prevention Month, we're reminding our team that help is always available.

Granite Mountain Quarries offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide confidential support and resources for our employees and their families when they need it.

Whether you're dealing with stress, personal challenges, or simply need someone to talk to, you don't have to face it alone. Reach out, check in on one another, and remember that support is always just a call away. ***dePreventionWeek

This Construction Appreciation Week, we're proud to recognize the hardworking men and women who build the roads, bridges, businesses, homes, and infrastructure our communities depend on.

At Granite Mountain Quarries, we may be at the beginning of the process, but we're proud to supply the crushed stone and aggregates that help make construction possible. From the quarry to the jobsite, it takes all of us to keep building our communities.
