Today, James turns 36. ❤️
And while birthdays are usually about celebrating another year of life, I feel like this one deserves a little more.
If you know James, especially through our business, you know his work ethic. He started this company with a vision and a willingness to work harder than anyone I’ve ever known. I came alongside him, and somewhere along the way, what started as his dream became our dream and together we’ve built something I’m incredibly proud of.

People see the shop, the cars, the reputation and the growth. What they don’t see are the 24–36 hour shifts, the nights without sleep, the missed meals and the sacrifices he’s made because when James gives someone his word, he means it.

This past year, I’ve watched the weight of it all catch up with him. Building something from nothing isn’t glamorous behind the scenes. Carrying a business, a team, clients, a family and a future is heavy. I’ve watched the strongest person I know struggle under that weight and still get up the next day and keep going.

James isn’t perfect. He’s stubborn, works himself into the ground and can drive me absolutely crazy. 😂

But men like him are rare.

Men who believe their word means something. Who keep going because people are counting on them. Who take pride in what they put their name on. Who want to provide, protect and build something meaningful.
Sometimes the people who carry the most hear the least about how much they’re appreciated.
I see the sacrifices, the pressure and the exhaustion. I see how deeply you care, and I’m incredibly proud of what you’ve built and the man behind it.

Through every high, every low and everything still ahead of us, I’m grateful I get to do this life with you.

There are Camaros… and then there’s the Panther Edition. 😮‍💨

Aggressive. Rare. Mean in all the right ways. And when one like this comes through our doors, you already know we’re not sending it back out unprotected.

This one received the full Diamond State treatment:

🚨 RED 911. CUSTOM PPF. MODESTA BC 04.

We could probably end the caption right there. 😂

This gorgeous Porsche 911 rolled into the studio already doing a pretty good job of getting everyone’s attention. Our job was to make sure it keeps looking that way.

This one didn’t call for a cookie cutter package. We installed custom PPF in the areas that needed protection most, carefully tailored around the car, the way it’s driven, and the areas most likely to take abuse.

Because protecting a 911 doesn’t always mean wrapping the entire thing.

Sometimes it means being strategic. 🎯

Once the PPF work was dialed in, we finished everything off with Modesta BC 04, giving that red paint the depth, gloss, and long term protection it deserves.

And red Porsche paint under the shop lights after Modesta?

Yeah… productivity around here took a noticeable hit. 😂

There’s just something about a red 911.

Simple. Iconic. Timeless.

There’s just something about a brand new 4Runner. 👀

Rugged enough to go just about anywhere, comfortable enough to drive every day, and now Carrie’s has the finish to match.

This one came into the studio brand new and left wearing Modesta BC X. ✨

Before anything was applied, our team went through the proper preparation process to make sure the finish was exactly where we wanted it. Because “brand new” doesn’t automatically mean “perfect” and what happens before the protection goes on matters just as much as the product itself.

Once everything was dialed in, BC X went down.

The result?

That deep, rich gloss you notice immediately, a finish that’s significantly easier to maintain, and long term protection designed for a vehicle that’s actually going to be driven and enjoyed.

And that’s exactly how we like it.

Hours disappear, the music gets louder, and every edge, curve, and body line is chased until it’s exactly right when it comes to PPF. It’s the kind of obsession that can’t be taught. It’s simply how we approach our craft.

Behind every great project is an incredible team. A huge shout out to Kolby for continuing to deliver absolutely flawless ceramic tint installations. Precision like that doesn’t happen by accident.

Honestly……..Learning to stop sugar coating reality.

For a long time I believed if I just worked harder, ignored the warning signs, or softened the truth, everything would eventually work itself out.

It doesn’t.

Sometimes an employee isn’t the right fit.
Sometimes a client isn’t worth keeping.
Sometimes you are the biggest obstacle in the story you’ve been telling yourself.

Basically was me learning and accepting the Black Coffee Theory.

Life DOESN’T owe you sugar.

The sooner you learn to accept things for what they are instead of what you wish they were, the sooner you can actually move forward.

Black coffee isn’t meant to be sweet. It doesn’t pretend to be anything that it’s not.

Neither are some of life’s greatest lessons. Some lessons really do suck. Some really hit hard. But if you actually use that lesson in learning something then it’s beneficial.

Over time, I have stopped chasing the sugar and start appreciating what the bitterness is trying to teach me.

Learning to accept the truth without trying to sweeten it has been the difficult thing.
