With over 40 years of transmission experience, our technicians provide transmission repair, transmission rebuild and transmission exchange service in North NJ. We have been a major supplier of transmissions in New Jersey for European and Asian models. Our staff's experience started in 1976 doing work for BMW in North America, Peugeot of North America, Rolls Royce, and indirectly for Chrysler Corp. Originally starting out in a 3000 square foot building, our company has rapidly grown and found it necessary to expand. In 1998 we relocated a short distance away to our current facility, which occupies 10,000 square feet. European Exchange distributes its products nationwide, supplying many independent & franchise transmission shops as well as general repair facilities. We also provide many major warranty companies with a source of remanufactured transmissions. Our facility has 6 lifts for customers and businesses that prefer the independent work to be done by our technicians. In order to supply our customers with all their import and exotic transmission needs, we have over 2500 cores, all of which, when remanufactured, are supplied with converters and a one year unlimited mileage warranty. Along with our complete line of import transmissions we can supply any need for domestic units as well. Our Company is also proud to be the sole supplier to the transmission industry of the Launch X-431 import car diagnostic scan tool. After conducting comparison tests we feel this is the best tool on the market and invaluable for any shop involved with repairing import automotive vehicles.
