Check out the transformation Cornerstone did on these original magnesium Halibrand wheels for the Avanti R3.
Magnesium is unlike other metals as it oxidizes almost immediately and requires different steps in preparation. It is also hard to find places to polish magnesium as the dust is flammable!

The work on this pretty 1953 Chevrolet truck is finished at Cornerstone. We completed mechanical work, installed air conditioning, a factory radio, paint work, made the wood bed sides from Brazilian Ipe wood, and much more.
We finished the work off with a professional photo shoot before it gets delivered.

The scope of the Studebaker Avanti R3 interior restoration goes far beyond what you see at first glance. Every component—chrome, wood grain, carpet, upholstery selections, stitching, and more—has to be restored, refinished, or recreated and then carefully brought together. When you're restoring a rare car, sometimes parts just don't exist - especially glass. Flat glass is fairly simple to reproduce, but when it's curved, things get a lot more complicated (and expensive).
For the Hudson Italia restoration, we're going all in - having the curved glass custom made, complete with the correct original logos (bugs) for that authentic finish. It's the details like this that make all the difference in restorations.
