Robalo in for a trolling motor upgrade!

Removed the old MinnKota Riptide and upgraded to the new Minn Kota Quest Terrova 72” 36v 115lb thrust. Stuck it on a powdered offset bracket offered by Sea Brackets to really lock this motor to the boat. Added a batterytender trolling motor plug to make this a reliable set up that can be quickly removed for storage/security.

Classic Robalo facelift: This boat has been through the wringer. Bad transom, blown motor, unsecured fuel tank, plus 40 years of instruments installed and deleted.

It’s been in and out of the shop for the past year chipping away at the list.
This trips list:
-Reinstalled ttop & leaning post
-Buttoned up all wiring in console
-Installed an acrylic panel, bent to match the console.
-Installed a light bar on the ttop
-Added a ton of new skar audio equipment: 8 6.5”, 2 8” mids, 2 8” subs plus 3 skar amps.
-Installed a new (Fusion) head unit, networked to NMEA 2k system for ultimate control.
-Installed an ACR for keeping the house batteries charging while boat is underway

On to the next!

Garmin Echomap 943 screen and transducer upgrade for this ShearWater.

New water pump kit & Helm seal kit also replaced while it was in.

This getting the top station removed. Derigged steering, motor controls, trim tabs and gauges from the top station. removed the top station and welded in some plates to cover up the leg holes.

Completed a 300hr service on the , resealed & bled the steering system, added blinker switches for jackplate and trim control, and fixed some nav light wiring. Ready for another year on the water! Thanks Larry 🤙🏼
