HD Security cameras installed and their live and recorded feeds are available for clients to check in on their boats at any time. A few years back there was a fire near by and clients could jump to their video to make sure their boats were OK.

With the freezing and the low tides along the bay, I've been keeping an eye on the video feeds from the marina. I always wanted to know what the tides were when evaluating the imagery I was seeing from the cameras. To make like easier, I used some open source code to automatically generate updated tide charts. The tide chart is updated every 10 mins and fed into the video system as a dummy camera.

If anyone wants me to host a tide chart for them reach out to me.

I set my chart to look like: http://www.maritimeopscorp.com/ which is tagged for Babylon NY station. I can create any available NOAA station and can tweak the look and feel to suite tastes.
