This came in with 120k miles on it

This is a real life scenario and ultimately the reality of most emissions equipped modern diesel trucks.
This is why we need to fight back against emissions control and mandates that just dont work. This truck is a pinnacle to someone's buisness, their livelihood, the money it earns has a family depending on it to work.
Hopefully is able to bring back the reliability of trucks and rules out these flawed emissions systems.

A friendly reminder why changing your glowplugs is very important, as well as the controller on 6.0l powerstroke. Bent, with swollen elements that could have broken off and caused a catastrophe. It's also equally as important to use OEM parts only!

Complaint of "lack of power in high range"
First drive with the data recording showed a max of 48psi fuel pressure and gradually drawn down to zero resulting in low power and eventually no increase in RPM as it starved for fuel. New filters and found this fuel feed line banjo clogged with rubber debris, cleared the line and checked all other lines to the filter housing. Power has been restored and fuel pressure is now right on par with Mack parameters 🍻

Injectors were removed and resealed before coming here to find the cups were cracked and leaking. Removed and replaced with new cups and seal kits, a few engine flushes and this one went back to work.

2014 4500 ram self loader we completely Rebuilt. This one came to us taken apart, missing parts, engine was left with the head off and piston destroyed. Took some time but sourced a parts truck and the transplant began. We turned out a complete and fully functioning truck, even pulled the dash to install a new evaporator core so the air conditioning was ice cold. Tons of time to get done but we're proud of the final product!
