FULL EXHAUST ≠ FULL POWER. 🚨

This 2007 Kawasaki ZX6R came in after a full system exhaust install, but the fueling was nowhere near optimized. At wide open throttle the bike was drowning itself at a 10.3 AFR.

After dialing in the fuel maps on the dyno and targeting a proper 13.0 AFR, the transformation was unreal.

📈 Faster revs
📈 Stronger acceleration
📈 Smoother power delivery

A full exhaust without a proper dyno tune leaves power on the table. The hardware can only perform as well as the calibration behind it.

Not every “tuned” bike is actually tuned properly. This one came in running extremely rich from a previous tune, which led to heavy carbon buildup on the valves over time. Excess fuel doesn’t just hurt performance — it can affect airflow, combustion quality, throttle response, and AFR consistency.

Before touching the dyno maps, we advised the customer to do things the right way:
✔️ Valve adjustment
✔️ Valve cleaning/decarbon service

A healthy engine gives us stable AFR readings, smoother power delivery, and allows for a more precise calibration instead of chasing inconsistent data.

Sometimes the biggest gains don’t come from adding power… they come from correcting the foundation first. 🛠️📈

2024 BMW S1000RR on the dyno today putting down a strong 185.95 HP / 80.94 TQ SAE 🔥

This one fought us every step of the way:
⚡️ Midrange AFR dip
⚡️ Torque intervention
⚡️ Top-end flattening

After dialing in the fueling, smoothing the torque strategy, and refining the top-end ignition, this thing came alive. Clean power curve, stable AFR, and absolutely ripping through the top end. 💨

And yes… that green flame on the quickshift is REAL 👀🔥
