Good morning Billtown Autoworks friends and followers. I just want to make a post and try to help you guys understand some things. I would like you guys to understand that we are a repair facility. Thats all we do. You bring your vehicle here with some issues or for some regular maintenance. And thats what we do. So to clear this up.
1. We do not make or manufacture any of the parts that we install.
2. We do not deliver the parts that we install
3. We do not perform a quality control check on the parts we get delivered to us other than a visual inspection when delivered.
4. We do not pick the parts off the shelf or out of the warehouse to send to our shop for accuracy.
5. We are not the logistical company that ships and transports parts to/from warehouses to retail locations.
So to summarize this post. I just want you all to be aware that when we call or order parts online from the local parts stores. We do not make them, ship them, check to make sure theyre right before they come to the shop. We cannot control delivery times or accuracy outside of the ordering process. When you ask when we anticipate the parts to come in and repairs to be made. We try our best to give you the most accurate time based on the information we have in front of us. However, the past two years parts availability and quality has really diminished. So we dont try to blow smoke up your butt when we say things like " we ordered them but they havent showed up yet." or " they showed up but they werent correct" etc. Trust me when I say there is nothing more we want than to order your parts and make repairs as quickly as possible. The faster we get parts and make the repairs the faster we get paid! Thats the point we dont keep people here waiting on parts intentionally. We would like to have your vehicle repaired, paid for, and back to you as quick as possible. Thank you for your continued support!
