Well it's about that time. Yes, to clear the shop's floor so I can get Back to working on bikes. Yes its still a bit chilly outside, but as the saying goes... "no rest for the wicked" if you have questions or your bike has issues. Just ask.

For 2024 Sarge's will be running bike maintenance specials.
We work on classic bikes as well as newer machines, but our specialty is those older bikes that other shops don't seem to want to work on due to their age. So if your stuck trying to get back on the road drop us a note here.

New to Sarge's your not alone, just like this 1988 Yamaha Virago, brought in backfire (owner said carbs recently rebuilt and was told getting to much oxygen), new fork springs and oil change. Backfire related to a hit and miss to no spark rear cylinder and weak spark front cylinder. Spark test showed good spark from coils. New plugs yielded really strong spark and beautiful intermittent blue flame from rear cylinder. Yes needs some adjustment something about lack of combustion in rear cylinder... well that does explain the bike's raw gas smell. Almost thought Pat was trying a new cologne! Anyways stay tuned we'll have more on the Virago and pictures too!
