This is why here at CarZone Auto and Body LLC we recommend synthetic oil changes at 5k, instead of 7500k-10k as often suggested by manufacturers. Many don't know that manufacturers get "dinged" by the EPA if the vehicle requires more frequent oil (or trans fluid) changes.

Engines and turbos are expensive. Extend the life of yours by shortening your oil change intervals.

As a side note, we also recommend replacing the transmission fluid on those vehicles that state the transmission fluid is lifetime and doesn't require replacement. All fluids eventually break down, resulting in wear and tear on components.

With the recent heat wave we have had numerous customers call stating that they used cans of refrigerant and their system is full, but the ac still doesn't work. We've had to tell them that these rarely work and they are not accurate, but many don't believe us. Don't believe us, feel free to ask any shop or just watch this video. It could save you time, money, headache and sweat from continuing to roll down your face.
