🌧️ HEY RV OWNERS — WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU ACTUALLY LOOKED AT YOUR ROOF?

Be honest.

With a very wet fall and winter expected, now is NOT the time to assume your roof is fine.

RV roof leaks are sneaky. You may not notice a thing until you start seeing a stain, a soft spot, bubbling on the wall, or water coming in, and by then, the leak may have already been there for a while.

A tiny crack today can become a much bigger problem after weeks of rain.

Tis the season for roof inspections and reseals.

Let Moonlighting RV Repair get up there and check it before the wet weather really settles in.

Some days are exhausting, but then you look back and realize how many people you actually helped. Power back on, A/Cs cooling, groceries saved, a dangerous issue caught, and one more customer taken care of before they hit the road.

That’s a pretty good day at Moonlighting. ❤️

Whew 😳 THIS is why AC maintenance matters!

That condenser was packed with dirt and debris, making the AC work a whole lot harder than it should. A proper cleaning helps improve airflow, cooling performance, and keeps your system from working overtime in this Texas heat.

If your RV AC isn’t cooling like it used to, looks anything like this, or just hasn’t been cleaned in a while, give Moonlighting RV Repair a call.

Happy Labor Day from Moonlighting RV Repair! 🇺🇸🔧

We hope Mr. and Mrs. Moonlighting and Jamie got some of the rest they very well deserved today, because this crew works hard all year long. Long days, hot roofs, tight spaces, phone calls, scheduling, parts, customers, and whatever an RV decides to throw at us — it takes all of us to keep Moonlighting moving.

Happy Labor Day to our crew. Y’all earned it. ❤️

Extended warranties are one of those things you side-eye every month… right up until your RV decides it wants a major repair. 😂

Then suddenly that warranty payment doesn’t look so bad.

We’re actually big fans of extended warranties, and Good Sam and Route 66 are two of our favorites. We’ve seen them save customers some serious money when ACs, refrigerators, water heaters, slide components, and other expensive RV parts decide they’ve had enough.

Now, read your contract because every plan is different and not everything is covered. But if you ask us whether a GOOD extended warranty is worth the money? Absolutely.

And yes, Moonlighting RV Repair works with extended warranty companies. 🙌 We handle the diagnosis, documentation, estimates, and communication needed to help get your claim moving.

Because RVs are basically tiny houses bouncing down the highway, and apparently they enjoy making expensive decisions without consulting us first.

When RV repair comes with patterns! 😂

A little measuring, templating, and precise cutting for this convection oven install — and she fit exactly like she was supposed to. 🙌 We also installed that pretty new stove 💁🏼‍♀️

Sometimes RV repair looks a whole lot like arts and crafts… just with power tools. 😂

Well… Moonlighting isn’t working on an RV today. 👀😂

Any guesses what we got ourselves into this time?

Hint: it floats. 🚤🔧

We know how hard people work for their money, and we know when something goes wrong with your RV, it can be stressful enough without finding out the repair wasn’t done right.

This is why we always encourage people to really look into the companies or individuals they hire. In this case, caulk was put into the white holes, but that didn’t actually fix the leak. You can literally see the water still dripping out from another hole. The leak itself was never truly repaired.

Sometimes the cheaper option feels like the best option in the moment, and we understand that. But when a repair is done the wrong way, it usually ends up costing even more in the long run. Water can keep getting in, keep spreading, and turn a smaller issue into a much bigger and more expensive one.

We’re not saying this to judge anyone. We’re saying it because we hate seeing good people spend money on something that should have been handled correctly the first time.

If this happens to you, don’t worry. Moonlighting is always happy to help and we’ll do our best to get you taken care of the right way. We’ve got your back.

Call the best before you call the rest.
