Discount Diesels is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Suspension Technician to join our team. The
ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading vehicle suspension systems. The tech will also
Evaluate incoming vehicles, replace parts and perform routine service work. This role requires technical expertise, precision, and
a commitment to delivering top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities
 Inspect, diagnose, and repair suspension components including shocks, struts, track bars, control arms,
bushings, ball joints, sway bars, and coilovers.
 Evaluate ride height, spring rates and driveline angles to ensure proper installation.
 Identify wear patterns and excessive play to recommend preventative maintenance or upgrades.
 Install aftermarket suspension systems for performance, off-road, or custom applications.
 Collaborate with sales to explain findings and recommend solutions to customers.
 Maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety and quality standards.
 Additionally handle such basic tasks as oil/filter changes.

Qualifications
 Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
 High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or ASE preferred.
 2+ years of experience in suspension or chassis repair (automotive or motorsports).
 Proficiency with diagnostic tools, alignment machines, and lift equipment.
 Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, geometry, and load distribution.
 Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.
 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills
 2 Years of Diesel experience is preferred.
 Familiarity with brands like Bilstein, Fox, King, and OEM systems.
 Welding or fabrication experience for custom suspension setups is a plus
 Knowledge of off-road, track, or towing-specific suspension configurations

We are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, responsible individual to assist our team in this growing business.

Mon-Fri 9am-5pm with options to work on Saturdays

Responsibilities include:
Evaluate incoming vehicles
cleaning/detailing
Installing replacement parts

Requirements include:
2 Years of automotive experience
Attention to detail
Proficient in the use of cleaning/detailing products
The ability to work efficiently solo
