Both young women have demonstrated the ambition, determination and heart this scholarship was created to recognize, and we’re especially proud that they are part of our extended Best-One family.
🍎 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿, daughter of Monroe Store Manager Matt Brown, plans to attend Ivy Tech to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education.
“One of my strongest characteristics is my ability to love. I strongly believe the Lord has given me this ability and has called me to be a teacher, not just to teach students and impact their lives, but to love them as He does.”
🩺 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘆, daughter of Jeff Trausch from our Commercial Sales team in Monroe, plans to pursue a career in nursing at Purdue University Fort Wayne or Wright State University–Lake Campus.

What is the Paul W. Zurcher Memorial Scholarship? In 2014, Best-One Tire & Service group established a scholarship fund in loving memory of Paul Zurcher, founder of the Best-One Tire & Service group. Paul encouraged and inspired others to reach for their dreams. At 21 years old, Paul opened a one-bay service station in Monroe, IN that has now grown to over 100 team members. With more than 300 partner locations in 28 states, Best-One Tire & Service is one of the largest independent tire dealers in the United States.
