Looking for a biker friend, any bikers that would like to take off from Lexington at 930 am SUNDAY and swim for a few hours at Riders Roost and head back the same way we got there. 90 minutes ride there, 90 mins back.

Will ride to Mountainview Restaurant for early lunch Sunday via 52, then ride 268 to Danbury and make a few stops. Then home on 8. Any biker welcome. Leaving Lexington NC and return there. Will work details out if I can find one taker.

I am still considering the Statesville Balloon Festival this Sunday. Either I will be there in the morning for the fly over or in the late afternoon for the launch. Kinda favor the launch era of time. May show up around lunch on Sunday and leave after the launch. Anyone with a bike wanna ride Sunday ? -

Weather permitting ( looks good so far ) Mattie and myself are planning to ride to Linville to view the viewables. Saw this. ( August 13 Sunday ) Sounds like a fun event and not a far ride from home. Not interested in riding with a big group so I will ride up there from Lexington. If anyone wants to ride with me, lets start from Lexington. I will post the banner I found in case you want to go up there with that group. The place is only 5.5 miles north of the Parkway from Laurel Fork which is very close to Meadows of Dan VA. Their website says FREE food and music for everyone !

Am looking for one soul to ride with me to the Diamondback 226-A but will allow up to 6. Its an overnighter so the person/s who say they will go will PLEDGE to do so and pay up for the motel room if they dont show. Any time during the last week of this month ( July ) 24th - 30th but of course would prefer the weekday ( lesser traffic ).

Make right onto 226 and go ONE mile. Cross over 226 and get onto 221 ( this will keep you going through Marion and its many stoplights ).
